Finding a Job Online

Nowadays if you’re looking to find a job, one, of the first places you look should be online.
In the past, most people who were looking for work bought the local newspaper. You could also find jobs looking in windows for posters advertising vacancies. Now, almost every business and workplace will post new vacancies on the internet. It doesn’t matter if it is a local restaurant down the street or a huge supermarket chain. You’ll be able to search and find their vacancies using your computer or mobile device.

Digital Unite has a great set of online guides to all kinds of types of IT, and they have a guide here for finding a job online. – https://www.digitalunite.com/technology-guides/hobbies-interests/jobs-careers/how-find-job-online

Big Local North Cleethorpes and VANEL have teamed up to provide a free IT support service to local people, and if you live in North Cleethorpes then I can help you. I work part-time out of 82 Grimsby Road (the Big Local offices directly opposite Tesco Express) and all you need to do is make an appointment and pop in.  I’ll answer your questions, solve your problems, give you advice and do what I can to help you get to grips with computers, the internet and more.

So, if you are looking for a job online and want a bit of extra help in using the technology or wish to know about online alternatives then get in touch.

Email me on andy@vanel.org.uk or phone 07523 772516 to make an appointment.
