The government has pledged £750 million to ensure VCSE can continue their vital work supporting the country during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, including £200m for the Coronavirus Community Support Fund. The fund opened for applications on 22nd May 2020.

VANEL has received Heritage Lottery funding to explore ideas around creating a green route through Cleethorpes. VANEL will work alongside Big Local North Cleethorpes to work with Cleethorpes residents to research the existing natural heritage in public parks and gardens; other green spaces; alleyways and along the seafront, in order to explore the feasibility of connecting them together using green ‘corridor’ mapping to create a green route. VANEL have announced that a new programme is getting underway. The Removing Barriers to Work programme helps young people aged 18 to 30 years old to find their own personal pathways back into paid employment through learning, volunteering and undertaking community action projects with support in the communities where they live. Young people in North Cleethorpes will be able to take advantage of this, so read on for the details.
