We’re still in the middle of a time of crisis, but there is plenty still happening in North Cleethorpes and our various projects are still underway. As part of our vision for North Cleethorpes to “Better Develop Local Facilities and Amenity Land for Culture, Leisure and Recreation” Big Local North Cleethorpes agreed to invest in two standalone projects – one of these being a Holiday Home for local residents to benefit from. Read on for more of the early stage details on this new project.
VANEL has received Heritage Lottery funding to explore ideas around creating a green route through Cleethorpes. VANEL will work alongside Big Local North Cleethorpes to work with Cleethorpes residents to research the existing natural heritage in public parks and gardens; other green spaces; alleyways and along the seafront, in order to explore the feasibility of connecting them together using green ‘corridor’ mapping to create a green route. We’re just getting started, so read on to find out more and to complete out first survey!
VANEL have announced that a new programme is getting underway. The Removing Barriers to Work programme helps young people aged 18 to 30 years old to find their own personal pathways back into paid employment through learning, volunteering and undertaking community action projects with support in the communities where they live. Young people in North Cleethorpes will be able to take advantage of this, so read on for the details.
