VANEL has received Heritage Lottery funding to explore ideas around creating a green route through Cleethorpes. VANEL will work alongside Big Local North Cleethorpes to work with Cleethorpes residents to research the existing natural heritage in public parks and gardens; other green spaces; alleyways and along the seafront, in order to explore the feasibility of connecting them together using green ‘corridor’ mapping to create a green route. Big Local North Cleethorpes have committed a significant sum of money recently to support a major development project in Cleethorpes bringing the old Cleethorpes Station ticket office back into use as a “Cycle Hub”. The project has been a long time in planning, commits funding from many partners and is a great opportunity to enhance Cleethorpes.
